Dr Morne Williams

Qualifications: BChD Stell 1998

Morne studied dentistry in South Africa where he was awarded his Bachelor of Dentistry (BChD) at Stellenbosh University in 1998.  Morne has continued studying after coming to the UK.  He received his postgraduate certificate in Endodontics from the University of Chester in 2009, he completed a rehabilitation course with immediate loading on to four implants in 2011 and in 2012 completed an Implant course from Cambridge University.

Morne is part of the implant restorative team for TDC Implant Centres who provides Smile-in-a-Day using the All-on-Four technique at our Peterborough practice (as well as Folkestone and Harley).

Outside of work, Morne is very active, enjoying golf, swimming, cycling and running.

Dr David Smith

Specialist Periodontist

Qualifications: BchD MSc DGDP(UK)

David qualified at Leeds University Dental School in 1973.  He then traveled the world after joining the Royal Navy and serving with the Royal Marines.

After retiring from the Navy in 1988, David was awarded his Masters Degree in Periodontology and Preventative Dentistry after studying at UMDS Guys and St. Thomas' in London.  He also achieved membership to the Faculty of General Dentist Practice and was entered onto the specialist list 1998.

David is our resident Periodontal (gum) specialist practicing periodontology and preventative dentistry with over 20 years experience in this field.

In his spare time David enjoys gardening and reading. 

Dr Richard Cousley

Dr Marion Visagie

GDC no: 71800

Marion read her Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry (B.Ch.D) at The University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and qualified in June 1996. She has been practising dentistry in the UK since 1996 and returned to South Africa in 2007 where she became a Partner in a Private Practice and secured a position as an Assistant Surgeon to a Maxillo-Facial Surgeon in Cape Town for 7 years.

Here Marion gained volumes of experience in hospital theatre procedures , etiquette and protocols and vast experience in oral surgery itself. Her skills in Oral Surgery will be an advantage to the Practice and she will take a lead role in this field of service.

Marion has an extensive portfolio in Esthetic Restorative Dentistry particularly in the field of crown and bridgework and it will be a focus in her practise here.

Marion’s professional motto is “To treat the person before treating the dental problem “Outside her profession, Marion is a dedicated mother, an aspiring author, a violinist, an amateur salsa dancer, an ex-ballerina and successful public speaker in her youth.

 

Dr Catherine Cousley

Qualifications: BDS BSC (Hons) FDS RCS

Catherine qualified at Queens University in Belfast in 1994.  After moving to London she worked in a number of Maxillofacial and oral surgery units where she obtained her Fellowship in Dental Surgery in 1998

Catherine aims to make the patients dental experience as pleasant and relaxing as possible.
