Full Mouth Examinations

During a dental exam, your dentist will:

  • Evaluate your overall dental health and oral hygiene
  • Evaluate your risk of tooth decay, root decay, and gum or bone disease
  • Evaluate your need for tooth restoration or tooth replacement
  • Check your bite and jaw for problems

X-rays may be taken at this appointment to check in between the teeth.

Routine Check-Ups

We advise a routine check-up every 4-6 months for each member of the family, unless advised otherwise by your dentist.

These check-ups allow your dentist to keep your mouth healthy and to spot any issues before they become a serious concern.

Hygiene Visits (Scale and Polish)

Dental hygienists professionally deep clean around your teeth and gums and check for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis (gum disease).

They also educate patients on ways to improve and maintain good oral health by providing oral health guidance, thereby helping to prevent serious problems – and expensive treatment – in the future.

Dental Fillings

A composite filling is a tooth coloured material that dentists use to restore decayed teeth.

Composites can also be used to cosmetically improve the smile by changing the colour of the teeth or by reshaping disfigured teeth.

Sports and Night Mouth Guards

A mouth guard is a protective device for the mouth that covers the teeth and gums to prevent and reduce injury to the teeth, arches and gums. We can create bespoke mouth guards to protect against:

  • Injury in contact sports (sports guards)
  • Teeth grinding (night guards) that can lead to headaches or chipped teeth

Emergency Treatment

We offer emergency treatment for dental related pain and swelling to our registered patients from Monday to Saturday. These appointments are limited but we aim to offer same day appointments whenever possible.

We provide an on-call dentist over the weekends and on Bank Holidays.
